Inaccurate Rain Totals

In case it's not obvious, there have been a few days where the rain guage incorrectly read dozens of inches of rain.

The rain guage enclosure had blown off last week and I fixed it, thinking that the wind was batting around the rain levers. However, the past few days it did the same thing. Not sure what to make of it yet.

Anyway, any daily readings over 1-2 inches should just be ignored until it gets fixed.
