Weather station back online and fully functional
The weather station is now back online and fully functional.
Several sensors were replaced (temp/humidity, UV), and the rest were recalibrated. Additionally, all the circuit boards were replaced, the unit was completely rewired (most of the connectors had gone brittle), new batteries were installed, and we even have a new case.
I think we will be in good shape for the winter storms that will be arriving in a few months.
Davis Instruments (manufacturer of the weather station) deserves another plug. The job they did repairing the unit was outstanding; their staff was helpful and knowledgeable; and all the work they performed was done without charge (and I'm pretty sure my warranty had expired). Top notch.
Anyway, it's good to be back online...
