Beautiful surf this morning

While getting ready for work this morning, I couldn't help but stand and stare out the window to watch the beautiful waves.

They looked to be perhaps 8 to 10 feet, with very nice form. The breezy offshore winds sheared off the tops of the waves, creating a striking effect.

There's nothing like starting off the day watching beautiful surf pounding 50 short yards from your livingroom window.

We've been at this house almost 2 years now, and it's still as exciting as the day we first moved in...

New server brought online

Last week we replaced an aging, home-built PC with a top-end system that performs wonderfully.

We strive for 24x7 uptime. However, from time to time we need to reboot the system when new software is installed, patches are applied, etc.
